A Quick American Fork Election Update


One mayoral candidate has withdrawn.


This morning City Recorder Dick Colborn confirmed a report I heard last night: former mayor Malcolm H. Beck withdrew as a candidate for mayor on Monday. The remaining three candidates are incumbent Heber M. Thompson and challengers James H. Hadfield and Ed Cameron. The September 15 primary election will narrow this field to two.
