About Tweeting, not the Health Care Takeover

I'm relatively new to Multiple Twitter Personality Disorder (MTPD), so I'm just getting things sorted out, in terms of where to tweet about what.

I'm relatively new to Multiple Twitter Personality Disorder (MTPD, newly added to my official list of acronyms), so I'm just getting things sorted out, in terms of where to tweet about what. I've been tweeting relatively frequently as @LocalCommentary, mostly with links to interesting things I happen to read, most of which relate to politics and government. I'll keep doing that, as opportunity permits. If you don't want to use Twitter, but still want to see what I post there, go to my blog's main page; there's a Twitter feed right there. Normally, I remove those tweets after a week and archive them at, you guessed it, my Twitter Archive.

But I'm also @DavidRodeback. I haven't tweeted much there at all, before, but as of today, it will be a little more frequent. This one is for non-political stuff, mostly. This morning, for example, I tweeted a fun dangling participle, kindly supplied by Amanda Dickson on KSL Radio this morning. When I have a few minutes later today, I'll tweet a link to a fun USA Today article about the basketball team from one of my alma maters, Cornell University.

In case you're wondering, I do most of my @LocalCommentary tweeting from bit.ly in a Web browser, because I'm handling so many links. Occasionally, I tweet from my cell phone. I do most of my tweeting for @DavidRodeback from my iPod Touch, using Tweetie, an iPhone app I like better than TweetDeck, now that I've tried both.

I hope soon to set up a Twitter account for the American Fork Weekly Gazette, a new venture about which I blogged last week.
