John Kerry's Grades

A-students should not mock C-students or call them stupid, so I won't tell you what I think of John Kerry's allegedly towering, supremely nuanced intellect. He was supposed to be the smart candidate in the 2004 Presidential election; now we learn that his grades at Yale weren't any better than President Bush's.

Of course, if A-students shouldn't say unkind things about C-students, then C-students shouldn't paint themselves as brilliant while calling their fellow C-students stupid.

Had Kerry's grades been announced during the campaign, a few more of the ordinary voters might have been turned off by his colossal sense of superiority than already were. But his partisans would not have been shaken. They already don't think there should be grades at school.
