One More Opportunity to Meet the Candidates: Tonight

That's at 7:00 p.m. at the American Fork Senior Center.

The American Fork Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a 90-minute meet-the-candidates event at 7:00 p.m. tonight at the American Fork Senior Center, which is located at 54 E. Main Street in American Fork. Between the Senior Center's parking and the American Fork Library's, it shouldn't be difficult to find a parking spot.

As to format, I'm told that city council and mayoral candidates will be a single panel and will answer the same questions. State Representative John Dougall will moderate.

It's a good chance to get one more look at all six candidates before Election Day, and to learn more about the issues, as well. If you linger afterwards, you should be able to speak informally with individual candidates.

I'll post some notes about the event here at the blog, but I don't plan to be as comprehensive in my reporting as I was after a similar event earlier this month (in two posts, one about the mayoral half of the evening, and the other about the city council half).
