JAMES HADFIELD is a longtime resident of American Fork, Utah. He is a veteran of military service with over 37 years. He has served in leadership positions in the community and is his church. He is the President of the Iron Blosam Owners Association at Snowbird, Utah.
Mr. Hadfield served the City of American Fork in a multitude of positions that have given him a unique insight into City operations. He served on the Planning and Zoning Commission for nine years, six as Chairman. He is a member of the American Fork Irrigation Board and the Metropolitan Water Board. In each of these positions, J.H. has strengthened the organization with his leadership ability and has managed the difficult task of balancing what is best for the city collectively and for citizens individually.
For the past 15 years, Mr. Hadfield has served American Fork City in the Engineering Department as the Supervisor. In this position he has led and directed projects to improve City infrastructure, beautification, and green space. He has also served as the Chairman of the Board of Adjustment where he represented the best of interests of the city, while being fair and equitable to its citizens.
Mr. Hadfield holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and is a graduate of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College. He is married to Elaine Haws Hadfield, and they are the proud parents of four children and 10 grandchildren.
