Thursday, March 20, 2008My Bracket (and Lesser Things)The Washington Post has my bracket; be a little patient with their web site. And I suggest three things to read about politics and/or education, in case you are one of those odd ducks who don't love college basketball. The NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, otherwise known as March Madness, begins today. That makes today and tomorrow my two favorite days of the year, where sports are concerned. I'm not going to bore you with my own analysis and reports, but, if you're into that sort of thing, you can go to the Washington Post's Tourney Tracker to see my bracket. I'm also fond of a CBS/NCAA collaboration, March Madness on Demand, where all the games are broadcast live over the Web, and I can even watch the games that have already concluded, also on demand. Living in the twenty-first century is kinda fun sometimes. If you really have to have some politics today, here are two pieces on local goverment: a Deseret Morning News article by Amy K. Stewart about that education forum I attending Tuesday evening, which I mentioned briefly yesterday and will likely discuss in more detail soon; and a George Will column on local governments that get out of hand. And here is a Ken Blackwell piece on home schooling, a California appeals court, the UN, and the NEA.
