I Don't See . . .


I've tried. I just don't.


Here are some things I don't see. I've tried, but I just don't.

I don't see how Michael Richards' racism makes me or my country generally a hotbed of racism. It makes him a jerk, perhaps.

I don't see what makes Utah Republicans so sure that a fourth congressional district will be solidly Republican, when they can't even make the Second District competitive after carefully gerrymandering it to be so.

I don't see that Republicans on Capitol Hill have learned anything at all from their November defeat. Witness their enthusiasm for choosing the same old fiscally-challenged, politics-over-principles leaders for the coming term.

I don't see what's so Italian about The Italian Place, but they make a very good sandwich.

I don't see why there is not a single crosswalk across 600 East in front of American Fork High School. At one or both of the corners of 520 North would be a good place. It's in front of the school, and many students already cross there.
